2021 AP® Exam Dates
The AP® Exams for the 2020-21 school year will take place from May 3rd to May 14th, 2021. Late testing exam dates will take place from May 18th to May 22nd.
Where will I take my AP® Exam?
All exams will be administered in-person, at students’ schools or designated testing centers. Make sure to check in with your AP® coordinator to get specific information about the location of your exam!
If you are homeschooled, you can contact the AP® coordinator at an AP® testing site near you. (Usually, your local public high school is your best bet). Check out the Ultimate Guide for Homeschoolers Taking AP® Exams for more information on this.
When will I take my AP® Exam?

For example, while a student who lives on the east coast will take her AP® U.S. History Exam at 8:00 AM EDT, a student who lives on the west coast would take his AP® U.S. History Exam at 8:00 AM PDT, three hours later.
