AP® European History
AP® European History (AP Euro) is a course that focuses on the study of modern European history from approximately 1450 to the present. Course topics include the Renaissance, the Reformation, the French Revolution, the Industrial Revolution, the World Wars, the Cold War, and the creation of the European Union. AP Euro was one of the first Advanced Placement® exams that was offered when the program began in 1956, as well as one of the first exams that Marco Learning began supporting in 2019.
The AP Euro exam is made up of four parts: a multiple-choice section, short-answer questions (SAQs), a document-based question (DBQ), and a long essay question (LEQ). Students who score a 3 or higher on the AP Euro exam are eligible for college credit at most colleges and universities in the United States. Marco Learning provides instructional videos, study guides, practice tests, and other resources to help students and teachers prepare for the AP Euro exam.
